讲座题目：Modelling and Optimisation in Combinatorial Optimisation

讲座介绍：Combinatorial optimisation problems appear in many real world applications in management, organisation and business sectors. This seminar discusses the research developments of evolutionary algorithms, focusing on the modelling for real world problems including transport scheduling, personnel scheduling, network routing problems, etc. Modeling of evolutionary algorithms for automated algorithm design with machine learning will also be discussed.

主讲人简介：屈嵘（Rong Qu），英国诺丁汉大学计算机科学系教授，博士生导师，主要研究领域包括遗传算法的建模和优化、数学编程、运筹学和人工智能中的机器学习等。Rong Qu教授是遗传算法和运筹学领域的EAAI、IEEE TEVC、JORS、IEEE CIM等六大主流期刊的副编辑。担任IEEE高级成员、IEEE计算智能学会多个任务委员会和任务组的主席或副主席。获2022年皇家学会与Leverhulme Trust基金会所颁发的高级研究奖金（2022 Royal Society Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship）。
